Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. Her parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was from Huntington Woods Michigan. She is of Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen's passion for acting was found at a young age. In 1992, she was awarded her first acting role in her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother prior to the age 13 and she was subsequently hired as a model for television and newspaper commercials. In addition, she is beginning classes in acting for herself. Bell was in a role of minor importance that was not credited to her in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school, and she was awarded the part as Dorothy. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her the completion of her studies. Bell quit university in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credits in Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however cut, and her appearance only appears in the end credits. Bell was in Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
