Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor who is best known for his role as the star of the popular TV show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. In his first years of college, Meloni was interested in the field of acting. After that, he attended The University of Colorado at Boulder. The characters he has played on television have gained him a lot of attention. He is able to play characters from both the good and bad sides that are part of our legal system. He can attract the attention of his audience with ease. On his debut TV show in which he played the role of a murderer. Then, he went on to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. He was repeatedly nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. He is famous for his blue-piercing eyes, which have turned into a signature and helped portray tough characters with charisma. In 2006, he was included on People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
