Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his part in the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time at college Christopher Meloni was attracted to the world of acting. He went to study acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in film and TV but his performances on the smaller screen were what earned him recognition. There is no doubt that his characters have been able to capture the attention of viewers by playing characters who are on either side of the law. His first television show, he was an infamous serial killer. In later projects, he was the role of an NYPD investigator. His small-screen performances have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature is thought to be his piercing blue eyes, which are considered to be a trademark and have aided in depicting tough characters that have charisma. He was named on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
